Chestnut
Canal King
'98 Clydesdale +Medusa Liver chestnut, blaze, four stockings Gold harness, teal pad Sire: Kingpin Dam: Smooth Sailing Canal King is larger than the average British boat horse. He is 16.2 hands high while the average canal horse is only 15.3 hands high. Canal King is one of the few active canal horses. He pulls a large passenger barge 20-30 miles per day up the Avon Canal. His large size makes negotiating low bridges a bit difficult, but his experience makes up for his size. |
Bay
Drum Major
'97 Clydesdale +Molly & Major Max Bright bay, blaze, four stockings Black harness, red pad Drum Major is a very powerful animal. He's taller than any other Grand Champion and stronger, too. In spite of his massive size and large feathered hooves, he moves with surprising high-stepping elegance. Drum Major leads a team of eight beautiful Clydesdales who pull a handsome coach. Under the coachman's direction, Drum Major and the others can park, turn, or back up their coach with amazing precision, and they are incredibly beautiful as they trot in unison. |
